A Prayer for Israel

angel armies Be a light in the darkness Bring the hostages home change their hearts divine intervention God's power God's supernatural power Good over evil Hope and expectation In Jesus name Is anyone among you in trouble Israel's protection Let them pray Prayers for Israel prayers for protection Praying for Israel Protect the hostages protect the Jewish people Pure evil Pure evil poured out spiritual guidance supernatural trusting God wickedness lives

I'm brokenhearted and completely consumed by what happened last Saturday to the people of Israel. It's horrifying to see the pure evil that was poured out on these innocent Jewish people, and it's beyond human understanding that such wickedness lives among us.

I can't stop thinking about the nightmare it must have been for all those innocent people that lost their lives in such sickening and shocking ways.

I'm reminded of all the little children and how traumatized and frightened they were and must still be. A feeling of anxiety, that will surely forever be in their hearts.

I can't keep my mind off the elderly, those who lost love ones, who watched video of family members being taken hostage. Those praying and worrying, will their loved ones ever come home? I keep trying to assess... how did this happen? Ascertaining that this kind of evilness is in abundance in this world.

As I try to quiet my mind and take this all to the Lord, I am reminded of the scripture James 5:13: "Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray..." This scripture makes it absolutely clear that in times of trouble, we must pray.

Our heartfelt prayers to our Lord Jesus Christ, will make God's tremendous power available to all those in Israel and all those innocent people who are in harms way.

Right now, let us believers all across the world link arms and make it a priority to pray for God to intervene in this tragic situation. Let's ask the God of all creation, the great counselor, the one for whom all blessings flow, to allow all of Israel to not only feel our prayers, but to also trust that our God is at work in their situation.

As for me, I'm also praying and trusting for God to send HIS angel armies, just like HE did for Elisha and his servant in 2 Kings 6.   https://www.learnreligions.com/elisha-and-an-army-of-angels-124107#:~:text=In%20the%20book%20of%20Kings,the%20angelic%20army%20surrounding%20them.

Won't you join me?

"Dear Heavenly Father,

I come before you today with a heart filled with grief and sorrow, but also hope and expectation.

As a nation with a rich history and a deep connection to your divine plan, I pray for Israel's protection and supernatural comfort, at a time of so much heartbreak and uncertainty.

Lord just as you provided your army of angles, leading horses and chariots of fire, to protect the prophet Elisha, I pray you'll send your angel armies to surround, protect and guide the people of Israel. Give them your divine stamina to hold out for all they have in front of them.

Lord, I ask for your spiritual guidance and protection, as they work to safeguard their nation against demonic forces. Bestow on them courage, wisdom, and divine insight. Grant them success in finding the hostages alive and well, while protecting all the innocent people that might be in their path.

I pray that you will change the hearts of their enemies, in the ways that only you can do.

I also pray for Israel's continued support from our American government and for you to strengthen the bonds of friendship, that will ensure the safety of all.

Guard the borders of Israel and watch over them in these times of uncertainty. Let your presence be a source of comfort and strength for all that dwell in this ancient and sacred land. A land that has seen so much heartbreak, hatred and conflict.

Prayers as well, for the protection of all the allies of Israel that are, or may become part of this battle.

I ask for all these things with hope and expectation, and in the precious name of Jesus.  Amen."
